The Eotech 517 is one of the new additions to the EOTech line. The EOTech 517.A65/1 sight is nearly identical to the 512 sight with two important differences.

First, the control buttons are placed on the side of the sight, allowing you to more naturally make adjustments while keeping your rifle shouldered. The side control buttons also make using the sight easier when combined with magnifiers or other accessories.

Secondly, a portion of the front of the base of the EOTech 517 sits 7 millimeters higher, permitting you to attach the sight over the handguard of M4 and AR15/M16 fifles. (See photo)

Twenty brightness levels ensure proper brightness control in either low light or very bright sunlight. An on-board microprocessor provides automatic battery check indicator, up/down brightness scrolling and programmable auto shutdown features. All electronics are fully encapsulated in shock absorbing resin compound.
