Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Will a gunsmith have to install my J-Max Laser System?
A: No. The J-Max Laser System requires no permanent alteration to your gun. It can be quickly and easily installed by the user in a matter of minutes.
Q: Should I align my J-Max Laser System with a bore sighter?
A: No. target distance and choice of ammunition will greatly effect your POA/POI [Point of Aim/Point of Impact] on a small revolver, so boresighting will not be an accurate method of aligning your laser. Start by sighting in your laser to match your front sight at your chosen distance and then make adjustments based on your POI.
Q: Is the activation switch for the J-Max activated with the index finger only?
A: No, the ambidextrous activation switches on the J-Max are designed to be activated by your thumb. Simply grip your revolver normally and let your thumb roll down or press in on the activation switch to activate the laser. Press in on the activation swich again to turn the laser off.
