VLTOR WEAPON SYSTEMS is proud to introduce the Modular Firearm Buttstock, known as the Modstock. The Modstock is available in two lengths for the AR-15/M16 rifle and collapsible carbine series. The Modstock was developed to be a "chassis or platform" for future mounting possibilities. Also, the Modstock offers a variety of sling mounting options by conventional means or with an ambidextrous quick detachable sling swivel.
Unlike any other stocks available the Rifle Modstock fits both the standard AR-15/M16A2 rifle receiver extension and the CAR-15/M4 carbine collapsible-stock receiver extension. So, now you canuse that match-grade upper-receiver assembly on your collapsible-stock lower, without sacrificing comfort.
The Modstock system comes complete, including all mounting hardware, quick detachable sling swivel and the Vltor's mountable accessories, such as Accessory Compartments, with the inner dimensions accepting a 3-volt lithium battery.
